NURSE PRACTITIONER
KRISTEN A. CARPOWICH, NP, ACNPC-AG, RN, MSN
Our Nurse Practitioner Kristen Carpowich brings many years of experience and expertise to give her patients a more refreshed and youthful look. With her depth of knowledge and skilled hand, Kristen focuses on natural-looking results. “What I love most is getting to know my patients and seeing how much they love the outcome of their treatments,” shares Kristen. “I’m so happy to be at San Diego Rejuvenation Medical Center where the focus is on quality, it’s very exciting to be a part of my patients’ journeys to inner and outer wellness.”
HER STORY
Kristen has been practicing aesthetic medicine since 2001 and is highly skilled and experienced with facial injectables and laser treatments. Kristen graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh where she was a teaching assistant for undergraduate nursing students. After earning her Nurse Practitioner license, Kristen worked closely with a neurosurgeon for 11 years and even assisted during surgeries. This gave her a deep understanding of facial anatomy and nerves, which is very important when it comes to providing safe injections. Most recently, Kristen was the clinic lead for a prominent med spa, overseeing three locations, training all the new registered nurses on injections, and seeing patients with her own very busy schedule.
GIVING BACK
Kristen is on the Social Concerns Ministry team at St. Therese of Carmel in Carmel Valley which coordinates projects such as serving breakfast to the homeless and delivering holiday gifts to local shelters. She also serves meals at a shelter in Carlsbad through the Friends of La Posada.
